Bucket of Balls

Jayden and I decided to go hit a bucket of balls over at the Rose Park golf course. It didn't take Jayden long to go through a "large" bucket....guess he gets that from his dad. By the end of the bucket he was tired and ready to go. He hit the ball really well though, over 100 yards with his driver. The only thing he gets from me is swinging and missing the ball, then he just gets very frustrated! He sure is cute though with the golf clubs.

All Worth It Moments:

Monday morning.... about 9:30 am, I get a call from Mckelsie who is at school and I am at work.

Mckelsie: "Mom, you have to tell my teacher that I have a doctor's appointment today."
Mom: "But you don't."
Mckelsie: "Well then, tell him I have a dentist appointment."
Mom: "But you don't."
Mckelsie: "Well, yeah, but if you tell him I do then Grandma or Grandpa could come and get me and then I don't have to stay here at school."

Ohhh....it is definitely MONDAY!

Peter Cetera Concert

Peter Cetera Concert

Dan and I decided it would be fun to go see Peter Cetera....after he googled him to see who I was talking about! It was a ton of fun. Dan, Christine, Janet, Chris and myself all went out to dinner before the concert and then jammed out to the oldies of Peter. It got a little cold but Christine kept me warm...

My favorites: "The Inspiration", "Glory of Love", "Next Time I Fall In Love" and "If You Leave Me Now".

I need to add...this was Chris's FIRST concert ever! Yes, and it was to Peter Cetera. He knew all the songs and swayed like it was nobody's business!

Utah State Fair 2010

State Fair 2010

The corn on the cob is SO good! This is the most favorite part of the fair....the food! We also had cherry lemonade that was the best I've ever had.

Mckelsie was getting lemonade and had talked the guy into putting it in her thermos, Save the Earth, water bottle.

You can't tell it here...but Jayden had some great huge big crocodile tears because I wouldn't let him buy some sun glasses.

Second most favorite thing at the fair....the BIG YELLOW SLIDE.

We always have so much fun on that thing.

We didn't even watch the rodeo this year....I love this too! Food, the Big Yellow Slide and the rodeo are the only reasons you go to the fair!

It's always so nice too, my parents usually go with us every year....they're pretty good company.

Camping #2 - Ogden, near Eden

We had one last camping adventure. It was very last minute and only for one night but alot of fun. It was a place just outside of Eden (near No Ogden). We slept in a tent, so it was VERY cold. There's a reason I have a trailer! I forgot to take any pictures but Jayden got ahold of the camera and took a few pics.

Back to School...2010-2011

First Day of School

Jayden is now if 4th grade and has Mrs. Mahas this year. We're just going to try to keep up with homework and hope this teacher doesn't think I'm an awful mother (on the homework front). I'm so excited for Jayden this year. He's going to be able to actually see the board in the classroom! It's going to be so good for him to be with all his little friends again too!

9th grade....HIGH SCHOOl....West High

I can't believe my baby girl is in High School! We did pretty good on the first day of school. Mckelsie only crawled on the floor like a baby once and tried to the leave the school a handful of times. The bus was a little tricky the first few days but I think we've settled into both now that schools been in for a few weeks. Mckelsie still really misses Miss Lorrie and her teacher family at Northwest but I think is starting to realize that High School is funner than she thought.
