Thought:
My brother posted this thought on his blog and I like it so much, I had to post it here.
"Most putts don't drop. Most beef is tough. Most children grow up to be just people. Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration. Most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is like and old-time rail journey -- delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."
~Jenkins Lloyd Jones, but quoted often by Gordon B. Hinkley

Forgiveness
"Forgiveness does not mean that you are necessarily forgetting or even remotely excusing. It is simply the act of letting go of the need to seek revenge and inflict reciprocal hurt on those who have wounded and hurt us."

Thanksgiving 2010
Happy Thanksgiving!
2010
"Not what we say about our blessings,
but how we use them,
is the true measure of our thanksgiving."
--WT Purkiser
I LIKE THIS!
Rebecca and Kali
(hehehehehehe......)
Really, the stars of the show: Mckelsie, Mikale and Kara
They were so helpful with setting up the table and dinner and cleaning up.
This dinner was especially for Mikale. Janet, Chris and the family were
going to be in Las Vegas for soccer on Thanksgiving day. Mikale was
pretty sad that they would miss the Thanksgiving day feast so offered to cook
up the turkey and do dinner at Moms. It was really nice!
